The Vitória Brazil Temple is currently in the planning stages. No groundbreaking date has been announced.
Renderings of the Vitória Brazil Temple and site plan have not yet been publicly released.
On February 27, 2023, the location of the Vitória Brazil Temple was announced. The 10,600-square-foot temple will be constructed at Avenida Leitão da Silva #2055 in the Iteraré neighborhood of Vitória near the Santa Maria de Vitória River.1
On October 3, 2021, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Vitória Brazil Temple at the October 2021 General Conference. Vitória is the capital of the state of Espírito Santo. It is located on a small island within a bay where several rivers meet the sea in southeast Brazil. The coastal community has two major ports. The temple in Vitória will be the 14th announced temple for Brazil. The other temples in Brazil are the Belém Brazil Temple, Belo Horizonte Brazil Temple, Brasília Brazil Temple, Campinas Brazil Temple, Curitiba Brazil Temple, Fortaleza Brazil Temple, Manaus Brazil Temple, Porto Alegre Brazil Temple, Recife Brazil Temple, Rio de Janeiro Brazil Temple, Salvador Brazil Temple, São Paulo Brazil Temple, São Paulo Brazil East Temple.2
