Temples Under Renovation
There are currently 10 temples that are undergoing major renovation. Following each renovation, the temple will be opened to the public for an open house before being rededicated for ordinance work.
7th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; preparing for rededication
16th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; preparing for public open house
18th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; completed; public open house and rededication to be announced when large public gatherings deemed safe
79th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; undergoing renovation
11th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; completed; public open house and rededication to be announced when large public gatherings deemed safe
60th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; steeple installed on roof of temple; installing stained-glass windows; cladding of exterior walls nearly complete
48th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; interior renovations underway; exterior cladding completed
1st dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; installing windows on east side; building west end extension; hardscaping north side
4th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; demolishing North Visitors' Center; jack-and-bore process underway to strengthen foundation; roof trusses being installed; excavation nearing completion for north underground addition
3rd dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; design plans and approvals continue
