Temples Under Renovation
There are currently 8 temples that are undergoing major renovation. Following each renovation, the temple will be opened to the public for an open house before being rededicated for ordinance work.
45th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; exterior refurbishment completed; interior work progressing
54th dedicated temple in operation; open during renovation; pouring footings and foundations
4th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; angel Moroni returned to east central spire; preparing to pour north and south transfer girders; building the visitor and patron pavilions; Assembly Hall and Beehive House renovations underway
34th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; former temple demolished; replacement temple in early phases of reconstruction
15th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; landscape removed; demolition of former temple building completed; burying remaining foundation; excavating and grading for new foundation
70th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; full-scale construction pending
