Neiafu Tonga Temple Sprie Shines Under the Sun

The shiny metallic spire of the Neiafu Tonga Temple rises over the lush treeline that stands along the border of the property. Windows have been installed in all four sides of the tower, and the roof has been completed. The 17,000-square-foot temple houses two instruction rooms and two sealing rooms. Construction of the temple and ancillary building formally began 44 months ago with a September groundbreaking.

Structrual Framing Progress on the Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple

Structural framing continues for the two-story Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple, rising on Rosario Limketkai Avenue. On the second level, the floor is being installed while framing of the roof progresses. Construction on the project began just over eight months ago. It is one of five temples currently under construction in the Philippines. The others are located in the communities of Alabang, Davao, Bacolod, and Tacloban City.

Syracuse Utah Temple Open House Begins

A news conference for the Syracuse Utah Temple was held this morning to commence the open house. Tours for invited guests will be held tomorrow and Friday, followed by public tours beginning Saturday, May 10, and continuing through Saturday, May 31, excluding Sundays. Tours are free, and reservations are recommended. The temple’s design motifs include representations of the local flora around the Great Salt Lake and nearby wetlands, as this community is considered the “Gateway to Antelope Island.”

Non-Structural Framing Underway for the Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple

Non-structural metal framing is progressing on the south side of the Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple, including the frames for five arched windows. Inside the main structure, the south staircases are visible. Concrete has been poured for the first and second floors, and corrugated decking has been installed for the third floor. Curbing is being installed for the northwest parking area along 2320 North.
