Angel Moroni Replaced on Columbia River Washington Temple

The now-weathered angel Moroni statue that was placed atop the Columbia River Washington Temple in 2001 was replaced with a new Moroni yesterday. The 13-foot gold-leafed fiberglass statue weighs about 250 pounds and is a highly recognized symbol of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ. It was delivered from Utah by Bruce Wallgren and his son, Brian.
