Bighorn Fire Threatens Tucson Arizona Temple

The Tucson Arizona Temple was put on alert last night of a potential evacuation order due to the raging Bighorn Fire. There are over 850 homes in the area under evacuation threat and nearly 300 homes already under evacuation orders. The temple has been minimally staffed since late March when it temporarily closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

157th Operating Temple Dedicated in Tucson

The Tucson Arizona Temple became the 157th operating of the Church today when it was dedicated by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the First Presidency. Last night, 2,100 youth joined in a inspiring cultural celebration.
