Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Beginning December 14, 2020, the Panama City Panama Temple will begin Phase 1 of reopening, placing the total number of temples that have reopened to 159. On the same day, four temples will begin Phase 2 of reopening including the Melbourne Australia Temple, Mérida Mexico Temple, Tampico Mexico Temple, and Villahermosa Mexico Temple. Aside from the eight temples closed for renovation and the eleven temples that have paused operations, only the Kyiv Ukraine Temple has yet to reopen since all temples were closed in March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
