Six Additional Temples to Reopen on July 13
The total number of reopened temples will rise to 115 on Monday, July 13, when the Halifax Nova Scotia Temple, Los Angeles California Temple, Montreal Quebec Temple, Porto Alegre Brazil Temple, Seattle Washington Temple, and Spokane Washington Temple reopen under Phase 1. All of the 115 reopened temples continue to operate under this phase.

Open House Tickets Available for Montreal Quebec Temple
Free reservations for the public open house of the newly renovated Montreal Quebec Temple are now available online. The 10-day open house begins on Thursday, November 5, and continues through Saturday, November 14. The temple will be rededicated on Sunday, November 22.
Montreal Quebec Temple Features Leaf Motif
Attachment of stone to the exterior of the Montreal Quebec Temple is approximately 65 percent complete. A unique leaf design is featured over some windows, which is presumably a motif that will be carried into the interior as well. The public will have a chance to tour the building in November.
Exterior Stone Progress at the Montreal Quebec Temple
Closed just under a year ago for major repairs and renovation, the Montreal Quebec Temple is being recladded with exterior stone, starting on the south side of the edifice. Scaffolding has been removed from the spire, making visible the new shape and the recently installed Moroni statue.
Rededication Announced for Montreal Quebec Temple
The First Presidency has announced the public open house for the Montreal Quebec Temple, which is undergoing renovation, for Thursday, November 5, through Saturday, November 14, 2015 (except Sunday, November 8). The rededication will be held Sunday, November 22, in three sessions.
Enclosed Entrance Framed for Montreal Quebec Temple
As part of the renovation of the Montreal Quebec Temple, the former canopy has been replaced with an enclosed entrance, and the granite cladding has been replaced with temporary boards to enclose the structure until the building's new shape is framed and the exterior is refaced.
Exterior Removed from Montreal Quebec Temple
Since closing last month for an extensive remodeling and renovation project, the Montreal Quebec Temple has been stripped of most of its exterior stone, exposing the wooden studs that will be replaced. Scaffolding surrounds the spire where stone removal will continue.
Montreal Quebec Temple Closed for Major Renovation
The Montreal Quebec Temple closed this weekend for a renovation project that is expected to last through September 2015. A large increase in temple attendance was experienced in the month before the closure, as the closest operating temple to Montreal patrons will now be in Toronto.
Major Renovation Coming for Montréal Québec Temple
On June 2, 2014, the Montréal Québec Temple will close for a complete renovation of the interior and exterior. The ordinance rooms will feature beautiful landscape murals, and the exterior will be have an altered appearance. The temple is expected to reopen in September 2015.
