Exterior Framing Added to the Santa Cruz Bolivia Temple
Pilaster frames have been secured to the concrete exterior walls of the Santa Cruz Bolivia Temple, and framing for the base tier of the steeple is underway. The three-tiered steeple with feature stained-glass windows on all three tiers. It will be topped with a pyramidal cupola and finial. Construction of the 29,000-square-foot temple began almost a year ago and has progressed steadily.
Pago Pago American Samoa Temple Monument Sign Installed
The monument sign for the Pago Pago American Samoa Temple has been installed on the east side of the grounds next to Route 018. In the evenings, the backlit art-glass windows in the temple are a striking sight to passing motorists. The temple is in the latter stages of construction, which began over 42 months ago. Finish work continues on the interior, and landscapers are making progress on beautifying the grounds.
Scaffolding Removed from the Port Moresby Papua New Guinea Temple
Scaffolding has been removed from the beautiful white exterior of the Port Moresby Papua New Guinea Temple. Ornamented wall panels have been installed around the windows and entryway, and cornice moldings decorate the parapet. Palms trees are being established on the grounds, as landscaping efforts move forward. Construction of the temple, accommodation center, and meetinghouse have been underway for the past two years.
View of the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple from International Way
The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple is a beautiful addition to Springfield's International Way. With the construction barrier removed, the granite-clad temple is clearly visible from the tree-lined street. Most of the stained-glass windows have been installed, and progress is being made on the grounds where grass sod has been laid, trees established, and shrubbery planted. Interior finish work is also well underway.
