Installing Stained Glass in the Belo Horizonte Brazil Temple
The installation of stained glass in the Belo Horizonte Brazil Temple has begun. Roofing of the tower is progressing, and stone cladding of the exterior is virtually complete. Along the street side of the property, permanent fencing is being installed next to the guardhouse where vehicles will enter. Numerous trees have been established, and preparations are underway for much more landscaping.
Preliminary Construction Work at the Tampa Florida Temple Site
A chain-link fence has been installed around the Tampa Florida Temple site where crews and heavy equipment will be carrying out preliminary construction activities, including demolition of the existing facility. Cooley Law School was the occupant of the building, but the campus has been relocated from its former Riverview location to the Tampa Oaks area of Temple Terrace.
Location Announced for the Retalhuleu Guatemala Temple
The location of the Retalhuleu Guatemala Temple has been announced as a 5.51-acre site located at Km. 182.5 RN-9, Caserío Puca I, Municipio de San Sebastian, Retalhuleu, Guatemala. The official exterior rendering for the temple has also been published. There are currently three dedicated temples in Guatemala and one under construction. Plans have been announced for temples in Huehuetenango and Retalhuleu.
Structural Framing Rising for the Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple
The first section of framing for the superstructure of the Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple has been erected. Framing of the two-story structure will progress from one end of the foundation to the other. The sloped roof will aid in shedding the heavy rainfall that is typical of the island's tropical climate. A fence has been installed along the top of the property's tiered retaining walls.
