Temple Announcement

On April 4, 2021, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Singapore Republic of Singapore Temple at the 191st Annual General Conference. This will be the first temple in Singapore, which is home to 3,000 Latter-day Saints and seven congregations. Singapore is the capital of the Republic of Singapore, located at the southern tip of the Malay peninsula. Missionary work began in Singapore in 1968.1
