Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The location of the future Maceió Brazil Temple was announced today. The tree-studded parcel is located on Avenida Durval de Góes Monteiro in the Jardim Petropolis neighborhood of Maceió. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 19,000 square feet. It will be the first temple built in the Brazilian state of Alagoas. Members in the region currently participate in temple ordinances at the Recife Brazil Temple.
