Location Released for the Iquitos Peru Temple

On Monday, January 29, the location of the Iquitos Peru Temple was announced as the 1.75-acre site where the Secoya Ward meetinghouse is located. The church stands at Calle San Marcos 117–137 in the San Juan Bautista District of Iquitos. Plans call for a temple of approximately 20,000 square feet. Iquitos is known as the "capital of the Peruvian Amazon." It is the largest city in the world—not on an island—that cannot be reached by road. It is accessible only by river and air.
