Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

On Monday, June 29, six additional temples will reopen under Phase 1 of the reopening plan for temples including the Columbia South Carolina Temple, Colonia Juárez Chihuahua Mexico Temple, Guadalajara Mexico Temple, Las Vegas Nevada Temple, Monterrey Mexico Temple, and Toronto Ontario Temple. This announcement brings the total number of reopened temples to 98.

Former president of the Colonia Juarez Chihuahua México Temple, Meredith I. Romney, who was abducted from his Mexican ranch on Monday has now been released. A distant relative of former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Meredith was taken from his truck when masked gunmen shot out his tires.
