Yuba City California Temple

The Yuba City California Temple is currently in the planning stages. No groundbreaking date has been announced.
Renderings of the Yuba City California Temple and site plan have not yet been publicly released.
No site location has been officially announced for the Yuba City California Temple, but an orchard property on the north side of Yuba City near the Yuba College Sutter County Center is being considered.
President Russell M. Nelson announced plans for the construction of the Yuba City California Temple in his closing remarks at the 188th Semiannual General Conference. The Yuba City California Temple will be the eighth in the state joining the Los Angeles California Temple (1956), Oakland California Temple (1964), San Diego California Temple (1993), Fresno California Temple (2000), Redlands California Temple (2003), Newport Beach California Temple (2005), and Sacramento California Temple (2006). California is home to over 760,000 Church members organized into nearly 1,300 congregations. The new temple will serve several of the 22 stakes that currently belong to the Sacramento California Temple District.1
The Yuba City California Temple will be the eighth temple built in California.
