Artistic Rendering Published for the Savai'i Samoa Temple
A rendering of the exterior of the Savai'i Samoa Temple has been released. The 29,630-square-foot house of the Lord will be constructed on a 4.6-acre site located next to the Don Bosco College and Vocational Technical Center at Lot 1098 to Lot 1105 in Fataloa, a subarea of Salelologa village on the southeast coast of Savai’i. Plans also call for a patron housing facility, ancillary building, distribution center, and temple president's residence.
Location Announced for the Savai'i Samoa Temple
On Monday, March 11, the location for the Savai'i Samoa Temple was announced as a 5.5-acre site located next to the Don Bosco College and Vocational Technical Center at Lot 1098 to Lot 1105 in Fataloa, a subarea of Salelologa village on the southeast coast of Savai’i. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 29,630 square feet. The temple will be the second in the country of Samoa, joining the Apia Samoa Temple (1983). A temple is also under construction in the United States territory of American Samoa.
