Utility Infrastructure Work Underway at the Lehi Utah Temple Site

Preliminary site work has begun for the Lehi Utah Temple, connecting the property to the city's existing utility infrastructure. The work includes installation of water and sewer pipes and electrical conduits. The site will also be cleared and graded. Design work for the temple is still being finalized, and no date has been announced for the groundbreaking ceremony. "We are excited for this first step in the process of building a house of the Lord in Lehi," said Elder Brian K. Taylor, president of the Utah Area. "This sacred edifice will be a blessing for Latter-day Saints in the area. We are grateful to the city of Lehi for their ongoing support and collaboration."

Exterior Rendering Released for the Lehi Utah Temple

An exterior rendering of the 85,000-square-foot Lehi Utah Temple has been published. The temple will be constructed on a 22.48-acre site located northwest of the intersection of 3950 North and Center Street in Lehi. Plans also call for a new meetinghouse to be constructed next to the temple. There are currently 23 dedicated temples in Utah, 5 under construction, and 3 in planning.

Site Location for the Lehi Utah Temple Announced

The site location for the Lehi Utah Temple has been announced as a 22.48-acre property located northwest of the intersection of 3950 North and Center Street in Lehi on the hill behind Belmont Elementary School and Viewpoint Middle School. Plans call for a multi-story temple of approximately 85,000 square feet with a new meetinghouse and shared parking lot. It will be the eighth temple constructed in Utah County.
