Elder Jack N. Gerard, First Counselor in the Europe Central Area, presided over the Brussels Belgium Temple groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday, November 22, 2025. "Brussels is a city where many of thy children from various lands come together in union to find peace, prosperity, and understanding in this world," said Elder Gerard in his site dedicatory prayer. The ceremony was broadcast in five languages, allowing members in the region who speak different languages to participate. The temple will be constructed within an existing building located on Avenue des Arts near the Royal Palace of Brussels. Construction is scheduled to begin early next year.

The groundbreaking services for the Brussels Belgium Temple will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Elder Jack N. Gerard, First Counselor in the Europe Central Area Presidency, will preside. A short program will be held, followed by a dedicatory prayer. Since the temple will be built within an existing building at Ave des Arts 52, no soil will be turned. Plans call for a multistory facility of approximately 25,500 square feet with a meetinghouse and arrival facilities.
