Groundbreaking Date Announced for the Brussels Belgium Temple

The groundbreaking services for the Brussels Belgium Temple will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Elder Jack N. Gerard, First Counselor in the Europe Central Area Presidency, will preside. A short program will be held, followed by a dedicatory prayer. Since the temple will be built within an existing building at Ave des Arts 52, no soil will be turned. Plans call for a multistory facility of approximately 25,500 square feet with a meetinghouse and arrival facilities.

Exterior Rendering Released for the Brussels Belgium Temple

An artistic rendering of the exterior of the Brussels Belgium Temple has been published. The temple, a meetinghouse, and arrival facilities will be built within an existing building located at Avenue des Arts 52 in Brussels. The temple will be approximately 25,500 square feet. There are nearly 6,700 Latter-day Saints organized into 12 congregations in Belgium.

Location of the Brussels Belgium Temple Announced

The First Presidency has announced the location of the Brussels Belgium Temple, which will be constructed within an existing building located at Ave des Arts 52, near the Royal Palace of Brussels. The building will house not only a multistory temple of approximately 25,500 square feet, but also a meetinghouse and arrival facilities. It the first temple to be constructed in Belgium.
