Planning Permission for the Birmingham England Temple Granted

The Birmingham City Council has granted planning permission for the Birmingham England Temple. "I’m so delighted we now have formal approval to move forward with the construction of the temple," said Elder Martin J. Turvey, a senior Church leader in the United Kingdom. "I’m grateful to everyone who has worked so hard to get us to this point, especially that the local community response to the temple has been largely so positive. What a blessing this will be."

Exterior Rendering Released for the Birmingham England Temple

On Monday, February 26, 2024, the official exterior rendering for the Birmingham England Temple was released. The temple will be constructed on a 2.7-acre site at 185-187 Penns Lane in Royal Sutton Coldfield where the meetinghouse for the Wylde Green Ward and the offices for the England Birmingham Mission are located. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 10,800 square feet, patron housing, and arrival facilities. No groundbreaking date has been announced.

Birmingham England Temple Location Announced

The property intended for the Birmingham England Temple has been announced.
