San Jose California Temple Will Be Built on Meetinghouse Site
The San Jose California Temple will be built on the 4.73-acre site of an existing meetinghouse located at 771 West Fremont Avenue in the suburb of Sunnyvale. The meetinghouse will be demolished to make way for the 30,000-square-foot temple and accompanying distribution center. No exterior rendering has been released, and no groundbreaking date has been announced. It is the second temple to be constructed in the San Francisco Bay Area, joining the Oakland California Temple.
